So I finally finished the Idolm@ster anime.
For those who are reading and are NOT finished, I wont spoil anything for you :)
The ending was awesome and just as I expected, they tied up a lot of loose ends but then they left us with the Dearly Stars? What? Second season please?

I finally got a Nikon for christmas thanks to Rin!
It is awesome and it is a D3000 <3
It takes amazing pictures, I have read the manual like 30 times (and i still am lost on some parts >_<) but I love it.

Final thoughts:
The mic work was horrible and so was the camera work but some performances went off w/o a hitch.
I went to the NYC event and you can see me in the red TVXQ hat when they show Times Square!
TVXQ was what I was waiting for and Im glad they didnt have to perform in korea XD
Oh and during the TVXQ part, in NYC the video lagged and then cut off during the final minute D:
You dont know how mad we were!

When i got the StarMaker app for iphone, i was so excited to see that i could just sing into my iphone and it would record without a problem. The other cool thing about it is, they have contests for the best singer so you know i had to join in on that.

The app is free and you start out with some credits to buy about..2 songs to start with.

When you get the hang of it, you are able to complete offers for more credits and buy more songs.

Or you can just win a contest and get like 100 credits O_o

When you click on the “Sing” option, you are taken to a page to pick a song that you downloaded and then to a lyric page that scrolls with the song as you sing:

As you can see, there is even an option to record using autotune on the bottom and it can be turned on and off during any part of the song (just in case you want to sing only half the song in autotune!)

On the top is “Vocal Guide” which is a singer (not the original singer mind you lol) that sings with you just in case you forget how the flow of the song goes. Dont worry, when you listen to your finished recording, the guide isnt there!

After you are all done with singing and autotuning, you are able to write a description and add a picture to the file:

When you log into the StarMaker site (with FB or if you make an account), you are able to hold all of the songs you recorded there and share them with other people who are also on the app or just on FB or Twitter.

Your recording page shows how many people listened to each song and there is even an option to “star” a song which sometimes counts as a vote during contest time.
(Think of the “star” option as the “like” button on FB)

People have also claimed to win prizes by singing the best during contest time and of course i called BS until i actually won something!

I entered the Andy Grammer – Keep Your Head Up contest and won runner up which got me a 10$ itunes giftcard, some credits and even a signed Andy Grammer cd O_O;

All in all i love the app and i will continue using it to sing and rock out with the autotune function until my lungs stop working.

You dont have any idea how much i screamed when they came out.
Since they had the least songs (besides Kangta) they were scheduled to come out last. Some people were saying that the best was for last (all Cassies of course <3) but i think it was the setlist.
Me and this other group of Cassies screamed every 5 seconds for their whole performance that CM had to tell us to shush so he could talk :3

I didnt go as crazy as other people did during the dance battle but it was still fun to watch.
The final song was cute and all of the performers came out to sing together and take gifts/pix with the audience. Also the confetti was a nice touch because some of the pictures came out great because of it :)

I wanted it to look something like this:

In case you cant see my pencil sketches; I wanted the bottom of the scarf to say TVXQ in some way so when i put it around my neck, it would look right and not “Hey whats XQVT?”.

I also wanted to put CM’s name on the back but decided against it because if it is wrapped around the back of my neck, you wont see his name much so i ditched the idea. Maybe read the letters TVXQ from left to right?

Finally i just decided to put TV on the left and XQ on the right w/o CM’s name.

If you remember my other tutorial where i spray painted the white cloth along with fabric marker to make it stiff and red then i wont need to explain that again. I did the same thing and cut out the letters TVXQ:


Putting the letters to the side, i took some fabric from Rin’s last project (the 2pm hoodie thingy) and cut the pieces in even rectangles, sewed the edges down then sewed the 2 rectangle pieces together to make a scarf:

Hey im getting better at this whole sewing thing!
I had a picture of the WIP for the scarf (before it was done) but i accidentally deleted it and didnt notice until i uploaded >_<;

Next was just sewing on the letters to the bottom of the scarf.
To do this i put the scarf on Rin and figured out which side the letters would go when i had the scarf on and also how much space would i need between each letter. I went with my sprawled out hand for the spacing, pinned them down and then sewed away.

These letters werent as stiff as when i sprayed the letters for my AKTF shirt so it was a bit softer to sew and of course, when i get to a rounded letter (the Q) i start to fuck up.

Also, THE WHITE THREAD RUNS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SEWING so i have to use red ;n;

Look how jacked up that rounded letter looks. Its not as bad as my D from the last project though

The fabric i used for the letters in this project was a pillowcase which would explain why it was so soft actually, the AKTF shirt letters were made from a stiff type shirt which is why it frayed and looked so weird after washing.

Anyway when i finished everything it came out awesome:

And for those of you attending…..excited for SMTown yet? >D Those of you /not/ attending…I’m sorry that you won’t be there and I wish you could be. I’ll try to take pictures and stuff for the blog, since I’ll be there without Len. ;A; Sad, I know.

Today, I took my hard-earned money from my latest babysitting gigs and made a trip out to the Flushing, Main st. stop on the 7 train where all the cool shops are. I’ve been needing some new clothes for the winter in a pretty bad way and thought if I did my shopping there, I could hit the kpop store I’ve been hearing a lot about on Facebook and kill two birds with one stone.

Shopping in Flushing tends to be a tad difficult for me because all the clothes are “one size”. Please note that in asia, the tag does not read “one size fits all”. Because it doesn’t. -_-; Anyone with breasts larger than a B that is bigger than a size 2 won’t fit into “one size”. Despite that, I decided to hit New World Mall anyway and have a look around.

I managed to find one or two things that fit me and that I liked enough to purchase, so here they are! 

Pink hooded sweater dress with pom poms

Isn’t this just adorable? It’s a knitted sweater that can pass for a long sweater or a sweater dress. I want to pair it with some cute tights (maybe with hearts or bows on them) and some knee high boots. <3 So warmmmm.

FYI, I don’t wear pants. At least not if I can help it. I feel more comfortable in skirts and dresses than jeans because I find pants to be restrictive. So over this weekend and next, I’ll be stocking up on tights and cable knit OTK socks to keep my legs warm all season. The only pants I wear are these black ones my mom gave me because they’re soft and stretchy, but they look like skinny pants. So you can be a bum without looking like one. They even have a button and zipper. I wore them to wait overnight for KBS tickets so I’d look okay but still be warm and comfy outside at night.

ANYWAY! ON TO THE NEXT THING!

I walked into another store in the mall and noticed that there was a sale–everything on the rack to the right of the door was only $20! Since all the other long sleeve shirts and sweaters I’d seen so far were between 40 and 50 dollars, this seemed like a steal. I looked through the rack and eventually found this. It screamed 2NE1 to me, and I needed it in my life, engrish and all. (Seriously, it says “Do Not Wasn” at the bottom of the design. I originally thought it said “Do Not Wash”, which made very little sense as well ._.;) It’s tight at the bottom and baggy in the middle, so it makes for a cool drapey effect. I like it a lot.

My new winter hat!

I originally wanted just a regular, white knitted hat with a pom pom but couldn’t find one. So when I found this one, it was the closest thing to what I had wanted. After I bought it (of course), I found what I was looking for. It’s fine, though. I like it anyway.

NOW! What you’ve all been waiting for! Let’s talk about Teamwork!

Teamwork is a korean store that sells jewelry, hats, scarves, purses and…KPOP STUFF!!! :D All the kpop merch is up front with kpop music playing overhead, with muted kpop videos playing on a flat screen TV down on the floor by all the posters. The shop owner was a very helpful woman, who was pretty knowledgeable about kpop and could help you find posters and items that were specific to certain idols. She found an Onew poster for Kylie (SO JEALOUS), directed me to the B2ST socks for a little bit of Yoseob love, and seperated a new shipment of JYJ posters just so she could give me the Jaejoong solo poster that had already been purchased from the current set.

The jewelry and stuff is really nice too! This is actually where I found the hat I had wanted, but I wasn’t upset enough over it to go return the hat and buy the new one because the bow makes it a bit more unique than every other white winter hat. besides, I love bows~

Now! Here are the things I bought from Teamwork!

Anyway, I just love these. Yoseob is my baby. I love him so much….I like him more than I love Kim Jaejoong (my first bias ever) because he’s more….playful and real. Does that make sense? Anyway, now he’s on my socks. And I should move on before this whole blog becomes dedicated to my undying love for Seobbie hahaha!

These are the other things I bought! I was looking through the JYJ posters and saw Yoochun and Junsu’s solo posters, but no Jaejoong. I mentioned it to the lady, who went and got an unopened JYJ poster pack and asked me to show her which one I wanted. I pointed to the thumbnail and on the back and she fished it out for me, and even put it in a special plastic to keep it safe while I brought it home! <3 How’s that for service? I also bought two bracelets (one in the top left corner) that say “TVXQ <3” on the front and “Cassiopia” on the back :D One for me and one for Len.

Long story short, although it may be too late to say that, I had a good time today and bought some really cute things. Most importantly, I absolutely LOVE Teamwork and I will be back next time I have money and need a kpop fix. :)

What happened?
I was helping the line get a good spot for the performance and i told someone to watch my things (a person who i stayed overnight with in the line) and instead of watching it she left it outside in a hiding spot “just in case i came back for it”. I found out about this hours later because i was helping the staff prepare for the concert and when i went back, it was gone. Staff at the park said they werent able to help me because it was stolen on public property and not park property. I tried the cops and everything i could think of but it was a lost cause.

Some people say it is my fault for trusting someone i just met and some are saying that even if i just met her, it is common knowledge to not leave important things in public to which others say “Its common knowledge to not trust someone you just met.”

Whatever you say, this is the first time this has ever happened so i have the knowledge not to do it again, no matter if i trust them -_-; All of my electronics were gone including my phone, psp and camera..right before NYAF.

You can imagine how the convention was when i couldnt take pictures, play Miku with other fans, listen to music or find out where my friends were. I wont be able to get another phone until december so if anyone wants to contact me, my email is still active and there is always facebook :)

I will be posting on here as much as possible until i get my phone. Just wanted you readers to know that i am not dead and i didnt abandon you!
